How to Report a Marine
Loss
All new losses can be reported directly to ACE Recreational
Marine Insurance at any time through the loss reporting unit at
800-433-0385 or by contacting
Heritage Marine Insurance during business hours at 800-959-3047.
You will be asked the following questions:
1)
Your name and your ACE policy number
and phone numbers where you can be reached during business hours. If
you have ready access to email, you might supply your email address as
well.
2)
When and where the loss occurred and if
anyone was injured.
3)
What type of vessel you have and if there
is a loan on the vessel.
4)
What was the damage to your vessel and
where the vessel is located.
You will be given a claim number and the name of the claims
representative who will handle your claim. You will be contacted by
your claims representative within 24 hours. You may initiate a call to
your representative.
If you have not heard from the ACE Claims department within a day,
please contact the person who is handling your claim directly or
contact Heritage Marine Insurance during business hours at
800-959-3047.
You are responsible for securing your vessel and protecting against
further loss. Your policy provides coverage for these expenses.
